About Me

Richland Studios was built to help artists, bands, and content creators produce professional audio and video in a focused, low-pressure environment. Whether you’re recording your first EP, launching a podcast, or creating promotional content for your brand, the goal is straightforward: make the process easier, make the work better, and help you avoid the technical headaches that derail creative projects.

My background didn’t begin in the studio world. Before building Richland Studios, I worked for years as an auto mechanic and metal fabricator. That experience shaped the way I approach production today; methodical troubleshooting, attention to detail, and the understanding that small problems compound quickly if ignored.

Later, I spent nearly a decade at a tech startup handling a wide range of creative and technical work including videography, web design, graphic design, voice-over recording, editing, and media production. Working across multiple disciplines taught me how audio, visuals, branding, and distribution all connect  and how often creators get stuck trying to manage everything themselves.

I built Richland Studios in San Marcos in 2020 as a dedicated space for recording, mixing, podcast production, and visual media work. The studio is designed to be a comfortable environment where ideas can develop without the pressure and distractions that often come with larger commercial studios.
